Care Pathway Design, Implementation & Supervision Consultancy
Transforming services with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based design
At Woven Health and Wellbeing, we offer specialist consultancy for services seeking to improve their care pathways, strengthen clinical governance, embed early-intervention models, or create sustainable, high-quality systems of care. Our approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in real-world clinical and operational experience. Whether you are refining an existing pathway or building something entirely new, we work alongside you to create a service that is clinically robust, operationally sound, and aligned with your organisation’s values.
What we offer
Pathway review, redesign, and implementation
We provide end-to-end consultancy for eating-disorder pathways and related mental health services — from initial scoping and stakeholder mapping to detailed redesign, implementation planning, piloting, and scaling. Our work blends clinical evidence, systems-thinking, and operational pragmatism to create pathways that are safe, effective, and sustainable.
Early-intervention development (including FREED)
We offer step-by-step support to embed early-intervention models such as FREED, including business-case development, KPI dashboards, outcome frameworks, training packages, and staff upskilling. Services are supported to implement early intervention with fidelity while adapting sensitively to local context and resources.
Service turnarounds & private-sector start-ups
For services facing operational pressure, high demand, or fragmented systems, we provide troubleshooting, governance review, optimisation of processes, and strategic plans to restore safety and flow.
We also support NHS Trusts and private providers to design or launch new services, drawing on clinical, operational, financial and entrepreneurial experience to ensure a strong, ethical foundation.
Clinical supervision for teams & ongoing monitoring
Alongside pathway design, we offer continuing clinical supervision, reflective practice, and outcome monitoring to maintain quality, safeguard staff wellbeing, and ensure pathways evolve with clinical needs.
Independent complaints & incident reviews
We offer confidential, impartial reviews of incidents, complaints, and complex cases. Our reports provide clear findings, transparent recommendations, and guidance for strengthening governance, communication, and regulatory compliance.
Why we can deliver
Our consultancy is grounded in extensive senior experience across specialist mental health services. This includes roles as Clinical Lead of the world-renowned Adult Eating Disorders Service at South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Head of Psychology & Psychotherapy, and Managing Director overseeing the launch of the first private mental-health service within an NHS Trust.
We co-founded and lead the FREED early-intervention model, now adopted across more than 50 NHS Trusts, and contributed to the development of the PEACE Pathway for autistic and/or ADHD individuals. Alongside this, we serve as part of the national leadership team delivering NHS England’s Whole Team Training Programme, supporting over 1,200 clinicians nationwide.
This blend of clinical expertise, strategic leadership, operational insight, and sector-wide influence means we are uniquely positioned to help services meet — and exceed — their clinical, operational, and regulatory goals. Our consultancy combines compassionate, system-minded thinking with the practicalities needed to create change that lasts.
