Professional Clinical Supervision & Reflective Practice
Thoughtful, grounded support for clinicians, teams, and services.
At Woven Health and Wellbeing, all members of our team offer supervision that is warm, reflective, and carefully attuned to the needs of each practitioner. We know that effective supervision is not “one size fits all.” Your therapeutic model, client group, workplace culture, and personal values all shape the kind of supervisory space you need.
Our approach is relational and systemic. We take time to understand you—the realities of your role, the pressures you carry, the dilemmas you navigate, and the places where your practice feels most alive or most stretched. Whether you are newly qualified or a senior clinician, supervision at Woven is designed to feel containing, curious, and genuinely collaborative.
Who we supervise
We offer supervision to a wide range of professionals, including counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, CBT therapists, mental health nurses, clinical nurse specialists, and dietitians working in mental health, eating disorders, ARFID, or complex presentations. We also support assistant psychologists, trainees, coaches, wellbeing practitioners, and mental-health support workers. In addition to individual supervision, we provide reflective practice and systemic consultation for pastoral-care teams in schools, university counselling services, inpatient and outpatient MDTs, and voluntary or third-sector organisations. Across all settings, our aim is to support both the practitioner and the wider system in which they work. We recognise the relational, cultural, and organisational dynamics that shape clinical practice, and we hold these in mind throughout the supervisory process.
Modality-sensitive, integrative supervision
Our team is trained across multiple therapeutic approaches, allowing supervision to follow your primary modality or blend perspectives where this enriches your work. We offer supervision grounded in integrative and relational psychotherapy, humanistic and person-centred models, CBT, Schema Therapy, CAT, MBT, EMDR-informed thinking, systemic and family approaches, trauma-informed frameworks, and eating-disorder–specific models including MANTRA (with accredited MANTRA supervision available). Some practitioners come wanting supervision that closely mirrors their modality; others want a broader, integrative space where they can think creatively and formulate more holistically. We tailor our approach to your experience level, your confidence, and your clinical identity.
A reflective space to think, feel, and grow
Supervision at Woven Health is a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with why the work matters. Together, we explore the emotional impact of clinical practice, the patterns and relational dynamics that arise in the therapeutic space, and the complexities of risk, formulation, and decision-making. This is also a place to integrate evidence-based models with your personal style, to navigate ethical or systemic challenges, and to stay attuned to your own wellbeing. We understand the emotional labour involved in frontline clinical roles, and our goal is to help you stay grounded, steady, and supported.
Supporting your wider professional development
Supervision can also include time dedicated to your growth as a practitioner and professional. We can map competencies for accreditation, plan CPD and training pathways, rehearse interviews or presentations, and explore identity, confidence, and imposter feelings. For those stepping into leadership roles, supervision can offer space to think about team dynamics, service pressures, clinical governance, and how to shape a practice that aligns with your values. Whether you want to deepen a specialist area—such as eating disorders, trauma, neurodiversity, or relational work—or broaden your modality mix, we will work with you to build clarity, confidence, and direction.
